In many of the light diesel and performance “chipped or software enhanced” engine control modules the most common fail point is the processor. This is mainly due to overheating caused by overload on the engine control module.
We have devised a way of upgrading the processor and installing new hardware within the module that drastically improves the cooling capacity of these units.
The main benefit of this heavy-duty control module upgrade is it can handle aftermarket tuner performance chips or tuning software used in many Ford DPC and 104 pin style modules.
